Flatery – Property Rental & Management Platform
Flatery is a property rental marketplace and SaaS management platform that helps users discover flats, rooms, and PG accommodations in Noida and Mohali while enabling landlords to manage properties, tenants, rent tracking, and rental operations efficiently.
Client: Flatery
01 / Challenge
The problem worth solving.
The rental property market in Noida and Mohali presents challenges for both tenants searching for suitable accommodation and property owners managing rental operations. Property listings are often scattered across multiple platforms, while landlords and PG operators rely on manual processes, spreadsheets, and separate tools to manage properties, rooms, tenants, rent payments, and maintenance requests.
The key challenge was to bring property discovery and rental management into one centralized, user-friendly platform. Flatery needed to support different property types, including flats, individual rooms, and paying guest (PG) accommodations, while simplifying tenant onboarding, occupancy tracking, rent management, document handling, and maintenance workflows.
Another important challenge was designing a scalable, secure, multi-tenant SaaS architecture that could support multiple property owners and managers with appropriate role-based access and data separation. The platform also required reliable authentication, automated email notifications, property image storage, and efficient backend APIs to support future growth.
The goal was to create a responsive and scalable PropTech solution that improves the rental experience for tenants while helping landlords and property managers organize their operations more efficiently.
02 / Approach
Making complexity workable.
The approach focused on building a scalable, responsive property technology platform that combines property discovery with rental management. We planned a modular architecture with a user-friendly frontend, RESTful backend APIs, and a centralized database to support property listings, tenant records, and rental workflows.
The development approach included role-based access control, JWT authentication, multi-tenant data separation, and reusable components to support different user roles and property types. The platform was designed to accommodate flats, individual rooms, and PG accommodations, with support for property images, automated email notifications, and efficient data management.
Special attention was given to responsive design, maintainable code, secure API communication, and a deployment architecture that could evolve as the platform grows.
03 / Solution
A system built for the real workflow.
Flatery brings property discovery and property management together in a single platform. The solution is designed to help tenants explore rental accommodation while enabling landlords and PG operators to organize property listings, manage rooms and beds, onboard tenants, track rent, and handle maintenance requests.
The platform uses a frontend built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, supported by a Java Spring Boot backend, MySQL database, and AWS S3 for file and image storage. JWT-based authentication and role-based access controls support secure access, while a multi-tenant architecture is intended to keep different property owners' data appropriately separated.
The result is a flexible PropTech solution designed to simplify rental workflows, reduce reliance on scattered manual records, and support future expansion across property types and locations such as Noida and Mohali.
04 / Results
What changed after launch.
Flatery establishes a foundation for bringing rental property discovery and property management into one digital platform. Its planned capabilities cover property listings, tenant onboarding, occupancy management, rent tracking, document handling, and maintenance workflows.
The platform's modular backend and multi-tenant architecture provide a foundation for extending functionality as requirements evolve. Its responsive frontend is intended to support convenient access across desktop and mobile devices, while integrated storage and email capabilities support property-related communication and media management.
Flatery's overall objective is to make rental operations more organized for property owners and managers while creating a more convenient property discovery experience for tenants in its target markets.
